ORDERING INFORMATION
Before ordering, please review and become familiar with our return policy. You must acknowledge that you have read our Return Policy before your order can be processed.

Return Policy
The Monetary Unit wants you to be completely satisfied with your order! We have a 30 Day Right of Return policy. If you are in anyway unsatisfied with all or part of your order, it may be returned in its entirety for a full refund, or in part for a prorated refund, less the S/H costs. The Monetary Unit will cover the cost of returning the order. To return items, buyer must contact the site via e-mail (orders@themonetaryunit.com) with intent to return, including the specific reason for return. We will then contact you with information on how to return your item and how the refund will be executed.

Processing Time
The Monetary Unit endeavors to process all orders promptly upon receipt and confirmation of funds; however, we ask that you expect your order to take two weeks for processing and shipment.

Minimum
There is a $10 minimum per order. Pennsylvania residents must pay 7% sales tax on the total of the order before S/H charges.

How to Order
Whether you plan to order online or via mail with a check or money order, just browse the store and put the items you want into your shopping cart. Once you’ve selected everything you want you can either process your order online using a credit card, PayPal, or Yahoo! PayDirect, or print out your order for mailing with a Personal Check or Money Order. (See methods of payment for more information).
Orders done online are processed quickly once funds are confirmed, so it’s the quickest way to get your items. Orders paid for with personal check are shipped after the check has cleared. Orders submitted with a money order are processed more quickly. There is a $15 charge for returned checks, so make sure you have sufficient funds in your account!

Methods of Payment
For your security, all online transactions are conducted over secure connections. Credit Cards are processed via Verisign and PNC Merchant Services, so we never see your card information. All Online Payment Services are conducted through those services secure servers, so we only have access to the funds that you send to us. All purchases must be sent to the billing address of the credit card used for the purchase, or the address for the online payment account. There are no exceptions. We also accept payments via PayPal. During the checkout process you will have the option to select a payment type. For information about the various online payment services please visit the respective website. All purchases must be shipped to the address provided on your payment account.
Orders submitted by mail must include a personal check, cashiers check or money order. All checks must be drawn on a US Bank and be in US Dollars. Money Orders must also be in US Dollars and must be accepted by PNC Bank, Pittsburgh. There is a $15 charge for returned checks .

Privacy
We will not share your information with anyone! To purchase here you will need to register by choosing a user name and password to create an account that retains your shipping information and billing address for your credit card. Shipping and Handling
Shipping and Handling Fees S/H fees cover the cost of time, packaging materials and shipping costs of the orders and are not limited solely to the cost of postage. The Monetary Unit endeavors to keep S/H costs low and only charges to cover costs associated with processing and shipping an order. We do not consider S/H a profit center!

If you are unsure of the S/H cost based on the size of your order, its composition, or its destination, contact us before hand with an estimate of what you plan to buy and we'll provide an estimated S/H cost.

Domestic US Shipments
All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service unless you prefer another method of shipping. Insurance is not required on orders under $100, however, The Monetary Unit is not responsible for the cost of uninsured items that are lost or damaged in shipping. All orders over $100 require insurance for the full value of the order. Insurance charges will be the actual cost of insurance and will not include any surcharge.

International Shipments
The Monetary Unit ships internationally via the United States Postal Service. Buyers may request another form of shipment, however, they must bear the full cost of the alternate shipping method. International shipping cost is based on regular airmail to the destination and do not include cost of registration. Registration is recommended for overseas addresses and costs $7.50 in addition to actual postage costs. All overseas orders are shipped at Buyer's risk and The Monetary Unit is not responsible for lost or damaged orders unless registered mail is used.

Coins
Obviously, coins can become weighty based on the size of the order, so postage costs can be significantly higher than those for banknotes or stamps.
If you purchase a particularly large quantity of coins that exceeds our standard S/H charges, you may be contacted regarding supplemental S/H fees.
