Authenticity
All stamps, notes and coins sold by The Monetary Unit are guaranteed genuine and will be accepted for return if it turns out they are not genuine. This does not apply to any items that may be fantasy notes, cinderellas, souvenir strikes, collectible forgeries, non-issues or private issues. Any such items will be specifically noted.

Image Disclaimer
All pictures of items are strictly for reference and are not pictures of the actual item that you will receive. Buyers should not expect:
- Any banknote to have a fancy, unusual, rare or low serial number unless it is specifically noted in the Item Description

As with most sites, we automatically track certain information about you that is gathered through your use of the site. The Registration Form requires you to provide us with your full name, full street address, phone number, email address and a password. This is primarily done so that future orders can be executed promptly and accurately without re-entering information.
When you make an online purchase we will request financial information such as credit card number and shipping and billing addresses. Credit Card information is gathered by Verisign and PNC Merchant Services and is never know to The Monetary Unit.

A Word about Grading
The grading of stamps, coins and banknotes is by no means an exact science, and is, in fact, quite subjective. The Monetary Unit endeavors to grade all items accurately, if not conservatively. Unless stated as a grading by a third party grading service, such as Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) or Professional Stamp Experts (PSE), grades provided by The Monetary Unit are the subjective opinion of the company based on established guidelines for grading set forward by The Official ANA Grading Standards for United States Coins, The International Bank Note Society and A Guide to the Grading of United States Postage Stamps.
As such, customers of The Monetary Unit may take advantage of our return policy if the grade of a specific item is in dispute.
